Universal AV Receive Vital Tick and Crown ISO9001 Accrediatation

Universal AV Services is committed to the quality services and audio visual solutions it provides to its customers throughout the education, public and private sectors and has recently undertaken an ISO9001 audit, in which Universal AV were recommended for certification.

Fully committed to the ISO9001 process, the company set up a strategic team, wanting to ensure that the processes in place were scalable and reliable and could withstand the busiest of periods in the AV industry.

Using Alcumus, ISOQUAR, a UKAS accredited body to achieve the certification, the company sailed through the audits.

Carl Harris, Managing Director of Universal AV Services commented, "It was important for us to achieve the accreditation through a UKAS registered body. The Tick and Crown are seen as being the standard everyone aims for, so to do so at the first time of application is an immense achievement and one which we are extremely proud of. We have reinforced systems that were already in practice, we know we provide a high quality service and experience to our customers and this is the Royal Seal of approval."

Universal AV celebrating 25 years this year received the news of the award in the same week as being short listed for 2 Industry AV Awards.

Universal AV is delighted to announce that they have been Shortlisted for 2 AV Industry Awards, and recognised by Newcastle University as Outstanding Supplier of the Year Award 2015.

Universal AV recently sponsored and attended the Annual Schoms Conference and Exhibition for the 3rd consecutive year further cementing relationships with existing Universities and developing relationships with Universities seeking to know if we will apply for further frameworks.

Schoms 2015 took place at Leeds Beckett in June, and was a huge success, with delegate ocmmenting on the seminars and sessions, the exhibition provided the opportunity to network and see future technologies and developments.

Universal AV celebrating its 25th year in business, wanted to bring some of this momentous occasion to the event and ensures that there were freshly baked Universal AV Cupcakes for everyone. These went down a storm with delegates, especially those nursing a sore head on the Wednesday morning, after the Panasonic dinner.
