Education

Technology and audio visual solutions in education is set to stay on the Government agenda. Schools, Colleges and Universities, if not doing so already are expected to embrace this technology and audio visual solutions to ensure that future generations are not left behind

Much research has been carried out on the impact of audio visual solutions within the teaching environment and how it enhances the learning experience. Audio visual solutions are being used to increase student involvement and engagement, provide teachers/lecturers with exciting new ways of bringing lessons to life and teach more effectively.

Universal AV has worked in the education sector for over 2 decades and has provided and installed innovative audio visual solutions in many schools, colleges and Universities throughout the North of England.

"One of the greatest changes can be seen in the lives of children and young people, who are at ease with the world of technology and who communicate, socialise and participate online effortlessly... Children are increasingly embracing technology at a younger age... yet the classrooms of today do not reflect these changes."

The manner in which schools tackle the learning environment they create is dependent on the position they find themselves in, are they a new build school where they have the luxury of designing from scratch or are they re-developing existing spaces? New build schools are able to study the design and layout of classrooms and how best to furnish the space available in order to provide a dynamic teaching space through the use of audio visual equipment. Existing buildings do not have this luxury however and have to use existing spaces in a creative and dynamic manner. The use of Audio Visual solutions can help bring the learning environment to life and engage pupils.

No matter which you fall into, new building or refurbishment, Universal AV solutions is able to advise you on the audio visual solutions and technologies most suited to your needs and environment

Never has the competition for students been higher for Universities. With tuition fees increasing, students have high expectations of the technologies the University uses and expect seminars to wow and stimulate, enhancing their learning experience. Universal AV has worked with Universities at integrating innovative audio visual solutions, creating modern and bright auditoria through to laboratories and teaching rooms and still continues to do so.
Audio visual technologies and interactive solutions are engaging students like no other method has previously, teachers who do not adopt these ways of teaching are seen to not be as effective. New courses with intricate visually enhanced content is being used to teach the generations of today, long distance learning and collaboration is more common and the use of these technologies helps to build productive and interactive relationships between student and teachers.
