Second day at #ISE2017 was by far the busiest yet. We had a tough schedule and had a lot to visit and see.

We started the day at our key partners Panasonic. The big emphasis on their stand this year was display screens; from 32" right through to 98"

They had a seamless 1.8mm video wall on display which was very impressive and they introduced their LED wall offering.

A distinct lack of projection on the Panasonic stand which perhaps emphasised their commitment to the product last year with the release of their laser family and their serious intent to become a mayor flat panel player.

The HARMAN stand was really impressive, mainly due to the huge range of products at their disposal. A key tone for their stand this year was video and audio over IP. However, what really caught my eye was their Acendo room collaboration system. Integrating Skype for Business and offering an option for a sound bar and built in webcam this neat little product will become a key player in the Huddle Space sector.

A quick catch up and a coffee with the boys from Medium UK and then we were off to Hall 13 which is dedicated to Education. Here we looked at the latest offering from CleverTouch and a very innovative little product called the CleverCable allowing HDMI, VGA and Audio down a single USB cable.

We took in TeamMate and looked at their height adjustable Works Zone with a Canon projector nestled underneath. Offerings from Dalen Top Tec included the new and improved Aries Lectern and the beautifully crafted and named Bravo Duet. JM lecterns were also in on the game with their Huddle in the funky colour offerings.

Samsung had some stunning screens of all sizes and resolutions.

Epson had some great products and their emphasis this year was on the large laser projection range. Their stand was stunning and is up for an award in the 100m square category. Wheeling out the Formula One car for another appearance this year, they produced a stunning display of projection mapping using 14 of their 25k laser projectors. They now have a serious offering in this market and with the introduction of a 15k laser projector, they are really threatening the position of the established high end projector market.

Quick visits to Canon to discuss their 4K projector, which is an amazing piece of kit and the Midwich signalled the end of the event.

The day finished with a truly retro feel as 70's legends Earth Wind and Fire funked the night away at #CrestFest 2017.

Looking back on our day 2 ISE2017 experience, I have yet to see the wow factor, that game changer I mentioned in my earlier blog, although Epson and HARMAN did impress. Perhaps with planned visits to NEC, Sony and Crestron today might be the day.
