First day at ISE2017 and it is as big, bright and as bold as ever. Due to a few problems checking in to our hotel (lose brownie points Marketing Dept) we eventually got to the RAI at 4pm local time. As a result we were already behind schedule and had to skip a few prearranged appointments (apologies we will try and get over to see you). We made our way to Hall 8, the home of digital signage and after a browse at what was on offer, made our way to the Onelan stand where we had an appointment to see the boys there.

The true phenomena of this event is that it does attract literally thousands of AV people from all over the world and yet (due to the laws of probability or some such mystical force) you will always bump in to people you know. We had arranged to meet with our clients from Nottingham Trent University, but also met and had good discussions with Keele University and University of Northumbria.

We then headed out to Bar Bavaria and Bierfabriek where we entertained a selection of our customers; a thank you for all the business over the years and their continuing support. The conversation and the laughter flowed and everyone enjoyed themselves (I have the photos to prove it).

So day one at ISE 2017 for us was all about relationships; meeting the people who help make our business the success that it is by recognising the skills and technical expertise that we offer and bring to all of the AV projects we are involved in.

Day 2? We have a tough schedule ahead and an appointment with Crestfest. Whatever day 2 offers us I guarantee it will be big, bright and as bold as ever.
